Like all CeraVe formulas, the light facial cleansing is based on an exclusive combination of three scientifically identified essential ceramides. Ceramides, a type of lipid, are a vital and natural component of the skin that draws in moisture and locks out irritants. As we age, ceramides become depleted, which can lead to a lack of water, causing signs of dehydration to lead to dryness and dullness.
