OILY SKIN

Oily skin is caused by excessive sebum production. The excessive sebum production makes oily skin more susceptible to blackheads, whiteheads, pimples and enlarged pores. Oily skin collects a lot of dirt that gets trapped into your pores. This dirt then leads to breakouts if not treated correctly. You can use a facewash for men that is formulated with clay. Clay helps reduce the secretion of oils and also deeply cleanses your pores. After cleansing your face thoroughly, you can use a lightweight gel-based moisturizer. This will help in reducing the production of oil and giving your skin the hydration, it needs.

Recommended Products

           FACIAL CLEANSER

    • Recommended:
    1. Employ a gentle, sulphate-free cleanser to avoid stripping the skin of its natural oils, which can prompt the sebaceous glands to produce even more sebum.
    2. Look for gel-based or foaming options that include salicylic acid or glycolic acid.
    3. These ingredients facilitate gentle exfoliation. You want products that cleanse effectively without causing dryness or irritation.

    • TIP:
    1. Cleansing twice daily helps remove any excess oil and impurities, but don’t go overboard.
    2. A double cleanse morning and night should be the absolute max, unless you’re doing a daily Ironman race.

    1. Oily skin is prone to breakouts and PIH (post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation).
    2. This condition leaves dark spots on the skin after a breakout has healed.
    3. Regular exfoliation helps lighten these dark spots by polishing away the uppermost layers of skin and revealing new skin cells
